April 2011 #Readathon: Noon

Posted by Ann Roberts at 9:00 AM

Nachos and chocolate for lunch, thanks honey!

It feels like my reading is going EXTREMELY slowly but I’m having fun taking a little time each hour to check to see what others are posting. Google Reader has made it easier for me to follow several people blogging.

It is a dreary, cloudy day here in Dayton…making it a perfect day for doing nothing but reading.

TitleStorming Whitehorn (Montana Mavericks, #36)

Comments: Yes, I need to read this IMMEDIATELY after completing the previous book in the series. And is it possible to come up with a cheesier looking cover?

For each book that I read, I will be donating $25 to both Project Read and to Room to Read.

I've already given up on Google Reader and instead am just clicking on some of the blog links posting up via Twitter. HAHA! I knew things would end up changing for me as I did this the first time. This is more of a "learning experience" for next time. :)

Yeah. I'm reading slowly today, too. I've only read 157 pages in 198 minutes -- that's really slow for me. But those micro naps of less than a second apiece are breaking into the train of thought. I know I'm re-reading sentences and even whole paragraphs.

@Sanddanz: I definitely prefer Google Reader...there have been 157 tweets since the last time I looked at way am I going to spend time reading through all of them. Although I do like the idea of randomly clicking on the post of someone I'm not following on Google Reader
