One of my pet peeves in a story is a protagonist who keeps a secret when they know they shouldn't...particularly when the character is a woman. The great thing about the Thomas's Harmony series are the characters including the supporting characters. This isn't just Cord and Nevada's story, it is also Ronny's story of dealing with someone you love being terminally ill.
